The objective of Pathways to Education lies mainly in the implementation of tools to accompany and support academic success.

For a third year, the CJE Lachine

continues to build on the success of this

program which is part of the fight against dropping out of school. The participation rate is 100% for the program, the students who benefit from the program are mostly residents of the Duff-Court sector and its surroundings. They are among the 16% of the most disadvantaged students on the entire island of Montreal.

In the Duff Court area, 54% of pupils still do not have qualifying training seven years after the end of primary school. What also sets Passport to My Success is that we target young people aged 12 to 17. We thus work in prevention with a clientele at high risk of dropping out.  school. Students must also be registered at Dalbé-Viau high school and for some students at Lakeside school, it is also possible to participate.
