Voix de Lachine
An essential initiative to raise awareness and equip young people to face the realities of violence and inequalities. This project is made possible thanks to the support of the Borough of Lachine and the valuable collaboration of our partners: École secondaire Dalbé-Viau, COVIQ, Passeport pour ma réussite Lachine, and La P’tite maison de Saint-Pierre.

After the success of its first edition, 'Voix de Lachine' will launch a second series of meetings between young people and inspiring role models to promote equal relationships and strengthen prevention and intervention tools. The project is based on close collaboration with key partners, including École secondaire Dalbé-Viau, COVIQ, Passeport pour ma réussite Lachine, and La P’tite maison de Saint-Pierre. Thanks to these partnerships, concrete actions will be carried out directly in priority areas such as Duff-Court and the Saint-Pierre neighborhood, specifically targeting young people aged 18 to 25. The initiative also includes a participatory dimension, allowing young people to contribute their own recommendations. As a result, some meetings will address critical issues identified by the participants themselves.
Thanks to Voix de Lachine, we will organize:
-
10 lunch-and-learn discussions at École secondaire Dalbé-Viau
-
10 lunch-and-learn discussions at COVIQ
-
4 lunch-and-learn discussions at La P’tite maison de Saint-Pierre
-
12 TikTok videos, including 4 specifically aimed at young women
-
Help amplifying youth voices within our partner organizations (CJE, COVIQ, La P’tite maison) and in local coordination bodies (TRAIL, TCJEFL, Concert’Action)
